OH HAI LJ. Public post, oh noees!

So this Thursday a brought home a new doll. She's a one-off Bader-Stein hybrid model who arrived on July 20th after nine months of waiting, weighing in at 6 pounds 8 ounces.



World, Evie. Evie, World. I'm sure you're going to get along great! Or possibly not, but I've no doubt that you'll give the world a force to be reckoned with during your time here. :3

So some friends and I have started organizing a Drink and Draw gathering once a week. It's just what it sounds like- Haul your ass down to the designated bar with your sketchbook in hand for a few beers and an art party! I think this may end up being my new highlight of the week, and it will be excellent for forcing myself to draw more. :3

( Also drew up a shirt/poster design for it! )

Anyway, if there's any Louisville people out there who ever want to join us, we'd love to have you! Just drop me an email and I can give you the whens and wheres. (It obviously doesn't matter how good or bad you are of course, the point is just to make some time in the day to actually do it.) It'd be awesome if we could turn it into a big gathering and a chance to meet other fellow artists. :D

Also, UPS. I hate you. Every time I have something sent by them, it comes to Louisville, then goes to LEXINGTON and then comes back to Louisville. Good job on that efficiency there!

Been having an urge to print up designs on tshirts lately. I really wish I could just buy a massive bulk order of tees and go apeshit on them all, but that'll end up being more expensive than I can afford right now.

But grabbed up a number of blank tees today anyway. I'll be throwing some shirts up in the etsy shop soonish. There's certainly a ton of screen printers on Etsy, so I don't know if I can hack it against the competition, but whatever. I have a lot of fun doing it, so I'm gonna!

Aside from that, it's much more feasible to just attack a bunch of blank shirts than to make a ton of clothing from scratch.

I'm gonna need to nab some friends and make them model shit for me, har har!
